This app makes a great lockout buzzer system for practice sessionsof academic quiz bowls, including Quiz Bowl, Scholar Bowl, BibleBowl and Bible Quiz. Use it for practice in place of bulky buzzersystems. It is also useful when traveling. Homeschool families willfind it useful for judging "who's first" in friendly familycompetitions. It has 4 (or 6) "buzzers". When a contestant taps abuzzer, a tone sounds, that buzzer lights up and all other buzzersare locked out. A timer light comes on and stays lit for apre-determined amount of time, which is used to regulate how longthe contestant has to answer (or begin answering) after they buzzin.
